What I learnt from taking ChatGPT & Dall-E for a Drive
ChatGPT from OpenAI has come at the right time to save us from Pundits teaching about lessons from FTX. Its funny few of these pundits were ecstatic about how FTX is saving the world… Another story.
To start with - “OpenAI is an AI research and deployment company with a mission to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity”. Whilst the way they describe themselves is rather vague, they are doing some cutting edge stuff.
ChatGPT is a more than a regular conversational bot that takes your name & email providing some templatized responses.
I asked ChatGPT this question — Describe a stately board room of a leading bank
ChatGPT responded with this.

This is quite an impressive work with ChatGPT able to generate output with a context. It is not just the information it could generate but the rich description it was able to add and things like “bank’s logo” that makes ChatGPT so good.
Next, I took the output to Dall-E which is a new AI system that can create realistic images and art from a description in natural language from OpenAI. Below is the image Dall-E was able to generate. Obviously this has still a bit of a distance (I am very hesitant to sit in chairs with a leg missing )go but being able to generate description from ChatGPT and being able to visualize this is quite an experience.
I am very hopeful very soon, we will have our own movie / web-series generator from OpenAI. Plug a one liner like “want to watch a 30 minute cliff hanger about CEO saving his bank from the brink of death”.
Future of Content Generation is fascinating & scary at the sametime especially for the Copywriters, Content Generators etc — Staying ahead of these technologies and figuring our how these core innovations can be used to build businesses is going to be very interesting.
